We use the same browser and it isn't centered for me. It's on the left. I like it that way.

Firefox seems to default to HTML 3.2 on this one, and thinks hr elements with no align on them should be centered.

Same for Safari?

It just feels right on the left. (No pun intended)

It should not be centered anymore (even on non-IE browsers)

How was it centered in the first place? And how was the line made translucent-like and greyish?

Is it just that no-one wants to tell me? If so, that's unfortunate to me, and I guess I'll seek to find that out elsewhere, as this is knowledge I really want to attain.

I think it's perfectly fine as it is.

If you read his post carefully, he did tell you. If you read the page source, it now says:
Code:
<hr width="400px" align="left" />

Before it was fixed, it simply said (or something of the sort):
Code:
<hr width="400px" />

Hunter said that Firefox defaulted to center when there was no specified alignment. It wasn't intentional. The line is translucent-like and greyish because that's how <hr> tags show up.

On a side note, I do love the left align. It's exactly 400 px, so it helps me find sig offenders. Mwahaha. :P

Thanks, Yoshi. I don't catch on as quick as everyone else at times.
