Shops if posible
then TP

I really try to avoid auctions
i'm not online enough to snipe so i tend to miss out on items

i'd rather do trading post when i can so that you can be sure of getting the item

Shops and trades. For selling - well, both, since in shops you just check occasionally and if your price is good, soon or when you wake up in the morning it's bought. But in the TP, you have a chance to find newbies or... -cough- people who aren't the best players that bid more than what you wanted :D For buying - probably TP, you can always bid a bit less than what they wanted, or buy the item in items so you get rid of items and get the item you want at the same time.
