It is often worth it. Be careful - I just got a 10K quest item. I'm going to ignore the stupid quest

I've never gotten stat changes, only crap items. The reward that made me quit was an usul cap (I think) only worth 90np

In my experience, it's not worth it.

I think the best thing I ever got from that thing was an earth faerie over worth around 35k

*sigh* I've been trying them for a while now, though usually the items are too expensive. I need to get a strength increase for my pet Aquari since her strength right now is 84, and I'd have have to raise her level over 60 points before I'd be able to raise it through the training school.

Ghehehe yeah that's the problem when you don't train your pet's stats equally.
If your pet's level is below 20 then training will cost one codestone (about 5000np), and the KQ I did then averaged to getting about 2800np per quest (with a statgain counted as worth 5000np). When your pet's level is 20-40 training will cost 2 codestones (about 10k), and the average worth of a KQ is 4500np. With higher leves I wouldn't know as my pet is only lvl35
So mathematically seen one shouldn't do a KQ if the value of the requested items is more than the expected reward...
