And we're one step closer to Planet of the Apes. Now all we need is some deadly virus that kills off most of the humans but makes all the monkeys evolve fast.

The way in which they're hunting to me seems like a modified way by which they use stitcks to eat termites. The prey is simply bigger.
We may simply never have observed the behaviour before. It's 'new' to us, but it may not be to them.

You really can't. I had one and dropped it in a campfire. It was a flip-phone, and the two halves MELTED TOGETHER. I pried them apart with a screwdriver, and the screen still worked. Everything was fine, and I could still call and text message.

This stands in stark contrast to my new crappy LG camera phone, whose front screen (the one on the outside) broke after I dropped it on the bathroom floor. Now I have to answer the phone before I know who is calling, which is a severe disadvantage.
