When I was at school, I walked, it was only a mile.

For Uni, in London, it'll be walkable, but if I feel lazy I will tube or bus it.

Generally I go by car -- it's a half hour drive, and my mum works at a school across the field, so I just go with her. If I'm leaving early, though, I'll get the train...I tend to avoid that, though, since it's a 20 minute walk from school to the station and then a half hour walk home from the station...

It's still an option though, just not its own one - so you can't be disappointed - be appointed!

I take the bus. Not one of those uncomfortable, crowded, noisy, uncomfortable, despicable yellow pieces of crap. Nope. YCN. It's a van company. Many call it "the bus", and that's how I voted, but it's technically a van. And I got lucky this year (I'm the only kid in the van). :D

I take two-three buses or I get driven.

It takes me about 20 minutes to get to school by both buses (It's true, one bus ride is about 5-7 minutes long, and no, walking would take an hour or so). When I get to school, my campus is a half an hour away so the university provides a free 30 minute shuttle ride to the campus. Usually takes me about 45-1 hour to go to and from school each day, but the commute does not bother me in the least. It doesn't seem long at all.

However, sometimes I can get driven to school which is usually a 10 minute drive and than I have that shuttle to take.

All in all, commuting to school isn't as bad as it was when I lived like 131917 years away from the university.

The best thing is when you get drivers who have lost their patience a bit and start telling people off for not getting out of the way of the doors and things. :D

Two buses. Takes me hour and a half to get to college. I HATE 9am starts.

Same start time for me this quarter. 45 min by bus, but I have an added 30 min due to the new schedule. Used to be every 30 min and get there on time. I feel your pain.

as its lots of people cycle to school, loads of people get the school buses! but tons of people are "scared" to cycle, because some other people intimidate people from our school. i go to a british school which is like the only school in holland with a uniform :x so sometimes cycling past people from the other schools they may swerve infront of you, swear, push you off etc.!

but this isnt all people. just a few people o_O
