I really can't remember, it was many years ago! I was probably looking up something to do with Neopets, found PPT, and saw that it had a forums. So I joined to forums so I could post on General Chat...

And then I actually -looked- at General Chat, freaked out at the number of posters, looked for another board, and found my way to RPing, and decided to stay for that. ^^

I can't remember, I think I was a complete newbie to Neopets and joined for help. I joined Neopets back in 2000 so this is going yearsss back! Then I left for a few years and came back just for the forums.

I can't say that I exactly recall. It's been since 2002, though (before the Great Crash).

I think I realized that I enjoyed firing off groan-worthy jokes, and Teh Intagooglezors was a much more efficient way of doing that than writing them down on paper and posting them on walls all over my college campus.

Hmm...I've been a member of PPT since *goes to look* 2004, though I definitely lurked for a long time. I think at the time, there was probably a plot that I needed help with. I didn't actually start posting a lot until the time of the Lost Desert Plot.

I remember exactly; I joined December 7, 2002. My first post was in (former mod) Marissa's graphics request thread, and I asked if she could make a blinkie for my Neopets profile. I kinda hung around after that...and now it's 5 years later.

It was an advertisement on the Neoboards 6 years ago promoteing PPT at http:www.pinkpoogletoy.com so I went to PPT wondering what PPT was like and when I saw PPT's forum I loved what I saw so I joined PPT because it which I think was sometime in April 2002. Also I remember PPT having a new database every month or two and having to keep reregisteting because of it until the 4th and 5th September 2002.

Back then PPT Forum was using YaBB. The history of my usernames on PPT can be found here.

I have memories of a Mr.Crossword (IIRC he was also known as GorrilaBoy) who used to post the Neopian Crossword anwsers on PPT's YaBB forum.

If I hadn't joined PPT then I would never have met so many our members throughout the years nor would I have played MapleStory, Tribal Wars, Werewolf games or even seen ChromeFox (aka ArchAngel) back when she had the Part Of The Furniture rank (Which was 10,000 posts and only the Legendary posting queens that are Lillie and ChromeFox have been able to achieve it.

I was looking for Neopets related things for my shop. PPT used to have cute little addons and things to help you custom code your userlookup (dont know if it still does or not...im not on neo much anymore).

I joined the forums because it seemed like a fun idea to have people w. the same interest talking about related things.

PPT has given me alot of friends that I truly cherish. I was a mod from 2002-2003 I think...I dont remember exact dates...might be 01...but I loved every minute of that.

It made me really sad to leave PPT for awhile when I had personal problems. but 3 years later, I returned. Sadly, alot of people I was friends with have moved on, never to resurface.

Oh, I know how it is, Ducky! I had to leave for a year, and when I had returned quite a few of my fellow role players had disappeared, and some left later. I'm still hoping that one day they'll return and I can start my RPing streak again. Dang, I miss them so much.

I used to use the PPT site regularly for Neopets help, it was just another step up to join the Forum and to discuss Neopets actively instead of only viewing the site.

I was on Neopets, avoiding my science project, looking for the fabled pinkpoogletoy.com that I really liked. Eventually I found it at pinkpt.com, jumped on the forums to discuss the cuteness of pets and certain robots, aaand yes.

Most/all of my old friends seemed to have left now, though. :c
