I really detest when people use Google as a verb. I know that language is constantly evolving, but "to google" is quite silly.

I used to say "lol" (lawl) to get a laugh out of my friends. Sometimes I say "what the heck" for a lark, too. That catches people off guard. Good times.

What does "ftw" mean? It's like that has come out of nowhere, and I have no idea what it means.

I disagree. It's a fair bit shorter to say "I Googled it" than "I did a search for it online," so it's linguistically efficient.

I see some people here use the word 'epic win.' What does it mean? I never heard of that word and my friends don't use that word.

It means that something/someone is really really great, amazing, better than everything else, etc. It's like a higher version of pwn, sorta.

Plus, it's been added to the dictionary as a real word for a couple of years now.
