Windows 98 was awesome, however.
My dad still has it - he even bought a new computer that had XP on it, wiped the hard drive and re-installed 98 on it. he has this thing that "if it ain't broke don't fix it", and no matter how many things i can point out are now "broke" about it, he won't upgrade. It's so annoying, as you can't plug external hdd or thumb drives into it, he can't do his tax on it, and what i thought would be the kicker but for some reason isn't, Windows have stopped supporting it and issuing upgrades etc.
He can play awesome DOS games on it. He doesn't even need Dosbox.

I swear, if I could find a clone of that game that had the original music, I would never want for anything again.

<3 I remember that game! I thought it was amazing because it was only like 35kbs. It's totally freeware now and you can download it for free, except you'd need DOSbox to play it. (Unless you do it on your dad's 98).

Good call Moongewl. The best games are often the simplest...

Although that said... I can't wait for Spore and Diablo III!

It is always seems to be the case that Mircosoft have problems with the stuff that they made when it gets released to the public especialy their consoles as their 360 had the 3 RLOD problem and IIRC the original X-Box had a safety problem with its power cables that forced the original X-Box to be recalled.

That being said I thankfully haven't any viruses on Vista yet so I am happy with Mircosoft's Vista at the moment.

Vista itself won't block viruses, Combusken.
