I'm glad they've finally decided to do something about them. And actually, using half years is easier on my brain... less math

I think Neopets is a bit ridiculous with their shields. I created my account on Jan. 1, and it is now October 12 and the shield for my month has yet to change. I'm sure that there is a way that you can make them change automatically. It's probably some rather simple code, too. Now Neopets is putting up half year shields? One of the best parts about Neopets, when it was still just a pup, was the shield changes. They were always swift about it, granted it always seemed to change either early or late. It seemed as if there was a certain day of the month that they would change everyone's at the same time. That would be great. Bleh Neopets what have you come to?
