You're right, Neopets wasn't the first pet site, but they probably were the first of this kind of pet site.

You're right, Neopets wasn't the first pet site, but they probably were the first of this kind of pet site.


Neopets was not the first virtual pet site. Chizzy was (and some of you may have played it), and neopets copied the idea from THEM.

Also, you have to remeber that neopets was lucky and got bought over no longer than 7 months after being started by DohRang, which is a multi million dollar corporation. So, they had a guy that owned the site with money to do just about anything. That is the only reason neopets has made it as big as it has, is because of its starting funds, and owner (Dohrang)

Yes, this is true. I had never spotted that... Any subeta chat, may be done in the first Subeta board
