Thanks! That's great to know. I have been leaning more to RI, but wanted that team loyalty bonus. If it doesn't exist, then that may just tip the scales.

Just to add to what Pickles posted, there is definitely no 'loyalty to team' bonus, but as in other years, you receive prizes for how many years you have played in the AC.

1 year - Altador Cup Through the Ages
2 years - Altador Cup Colosseum Archway
3 years - Altador Cup Colosseum Interior Background
4 years - Altador Cup V Competition Torch
5 years - Yooyu Garden Pond
6 years - Discarded Yooyuball Gear Foreground
7 years - View of Altador Background
8 years - Altador Cup Bunting (current)

Each year you get the previous years prizes as well as the new year prize. Plus, as always you get a Altador Cup Frame in your teams name.

Actually, you only get the new prize plus the AC Frame. Otherwise, there'd be so many duplicates of the earlier prizes...

Wow, I joined in late. I decided to do Maraqua (before reading this thread). This is HIGHLY BIASED but Roo Island colors always reminded me of Microsoft...and being an Apple-fan, I don't think I will bandwagon to Roo anytime soon. (which is probably a good thing because me usually not playing in the games isn't going to help Roo any). Apparently I've been with Maraqua for 3 years? I have 3 borders and a Shenkuu border.

My pets are decked out for Maraqua except one who is currently feeling a bit...'Maleficent'?

I have played my first game of the season! And I got a decent number of goals in too. I actually really like Yooyuball. I'll play more Yooyuball tonight after work; might as well get a lot of wins out of it now while I'm still in "Yay! Yooyuball is back and Yooyuball is awesome!" mode and not "Aagh, I'm tired of Yooyuball!" which I will eventually get to if I follow the pattern of past yeras.

New caps have been figured out:
YYB: 68 games
SoSd: 762 games
MSN: 762 games
SS: 139 games

Minimums to be counted:
YYB: Win or Draw the game
MSN: 3,000 points
SS: 270 points
SoSD: 35 points (1 goal)

It looks like they have NOT changed the number of games needed for All Star/other ranks.

Will edit into first post when I can.

But, eeesh we're doing terrible as a team. I guess I should stop re-installing things on my computer (HD died yesterday, had to replace it, reinstall windows, the whole shebang) and play some for us!

KD is winning our bracket right now, VP is winning the next bracket (against DC, which I read a rumor on the boards had a ACG join it?), and not too surprisingly, HW is winning the last (which I also read a rumor on the boards had a ACG join it).
