That would be an excelant idea. It would keep people who want to have "individual" fonts from pitching fits but still please those of use who don't care about html looks and would just like legibal boards (or as much legibility as the neoboards allow)

I never understood why people used the white font anyway, I mean if you're going to post, don't you want to be heard (or read)? Why make it harder for people to hear your opinion? Not everyone bothers to highlight it, they just ignore it. Anyway, I'm glad they're gone

Make fonts like avatars! ^_^

There would only be premade fonts, and you get them in a similar fasion to the way you get avatars! ^_^

All right, I'm fine with the white ban, it was just annoying to have that font, but why glowing??? They say that some people it took longer to load, ok I don't know about mozilla but on Netscape, which is what I use at school it works fine. And I had worked hard to personalize my font.

They probably just got rid of them because the monitors were having a hard time reading the posts that were reported to them, when they actually did double-check a report.

Reported posts aren't formatted. They are always sent plain-text, so you don't have to worry about that.

It was because mozilla and other browser users like me couldn't actually see those posts. I had to highlight them. Which was rather annoying when I come on the boards only to find out info or post about trades and such. Highlighting every one is hard. I don't like to use IE. I seem to get lots of spyware using it and it crashes my computer.

Was just for fairness really. But I do know some IE users didn't like them either due to a big percent of them being very dificult to read. Some even looked like they were moving O_o

I think banning the glow and shadow were a stupid idea.

Banning white font I really don't care about that much. I ignored anythig in white anyway, but it was nice to be able to match your font to your avatar. I really liked that.

Why stupid? They were only text effects. It's not like neopets was about the text you use anyway. Plus many people couldn't see them. It's only fair.

You can still match your font with the avatar. People still do...

i don't understand how you guys can stand the neoboards. I go on there for quest help occasionally... but other than that, it moves too fast (with lots of junky posts) ... if you blink once your topic has sunk. Or am I just looking in the wrong places?
