I haven't...but my sister had a poem she wrote published in a book. I thought that was cool when it happened. :)

I've had my poems published on newspapers before, but even though my teachers constantly encourage me to publsh the stories I've written, I don't think it would be very wise. Who would want to buy the works of an obscure teenager? :P

Not yet, but it's one of my few goals.

RPing really helps me with my writing. It keeps me focused on a certain plot. Right now, I'm working a novel that I do not plan to try to publish; it's just for practice. But my all-time goal is to write a book of dysfunctional fairy tales. I currently have one done (The Itsy Bitsy Spider meets Jack and Jill) but I plan to do as many as I can and maybe attempt to publish it. Humorous fiction is my favorite style of writing.

I had to create a children's book for an assignment in high school. My parents were really impressed with what I came up with and they really encouraged me to try to get it published.

I actually sent it to a company but it didn't work out I'm afraid.

I'd love to publish a book though. :)

I haven't, but I'm actually planning a piece of fanfiction which I'm hoping to write - and complete :P

There was this thing that a hospitol was doing sending out flyers on somethings. And I filled out the sheet and sent it in, and it was used for making this book. (childrens) Not telling which book though. ;)

I'd love to some day, I've written a few stories just for practise but none of them are WAY good enough to be published!! I'd love to write some decent books for teenagers though ... or a book of childrens poetry maybe.

One of the many things on my 'To do List' when I'm older!! :D

when i was 12 and 13 I had some stories and a piece of artwork published in a couple of children's books. since then i've written a lot and dreamed about being published, but haven't really actively tried to publish anything of mine, too perfectionist i suppose. it is a huge goal in my life, i adore writing and hope my stuff will one day be decent enough to share with the rest of the world.

eheh and i have had one story of mine published in the Pink Ink as well as published online on my own website, but that doesn't really count, does it? haha.

oh, and Starchaser, 300 pages, that's pretty dang awesome, congratulations and best of luck getting published!!!

I've had poems published in 10 poetry anthologies and 2 literary magazines. But that was like 7 or 8 years ago. I haven't tried to get anything published lately.

Even had a songwriter in Texas offer me $5000 once to turn one of my poems into a song. I turned him down, only because I knew there had to be a catch there somewhere.

Wow, you must be quite a poet to have that kind of portfolio, eh? ;)

If any of you get your works published, be sure to tell me. The least I'll do is check it out from the library and read it... I'll try to buy it and then I can say, 'See?! I know this author personally! SEE!" :roflol:

Anyways. I've necer had anything major published before, in fact, I don't remember if I ever had have something published... I am writing a fantasy book, though, and have quite a few other plots in mind.

Oh congratulations, you really finished your book! :D That's brilliant!

I've never had any of my work published, nor have I ever submitted any of my work to be published somewhere. (I wouldn't count any online submissions of mine as being published personally because standards tend to be lower ... and I would be ashamed to see some of my work online, I should think.) I'd like to, but I don't think I will - at least not now. If I were to be published, I'd like to be published because I've got real talent and because I've produced something really, truly beautiful.

I was published in the first issue of a monthly magazine by our newspaper.... only cuz my dad's the editor!

I actually have the concepts for about 1,000 books... including a series about the history of a world I made up. An entire planet, but mostly one country. Maybe someday I'll get around to actually writing it and not just drawing pictures of said country.
