The location on the Meridell map kinda reminds me of the crack in the Ice Caves. It better not be just a portal to another world...unless it's a new one. :P

Yeah Meridell already has a few too many off-shoot worlds. They should work on something like Mystery Island first.

Yeah, I thought of that too when I saw it. That would be cool if it lead to an underground world like the one you suggested.

I still would like it to be a plot hole though... so much fun in that :)
