Fighting? Ugh, it looks I left it a bit late to rejoin Neopets...

i doubt the idea of any war.. just a story plot... maybe a puzzle to solve or something... but no war... perhaps in the Curse of Maraqua Expansion (Jan 05) we might see a war plot...

Im really disappointed, I was hoping for a Mystery Island type plot. It was tons of fun to do, but if all this plot involves is reading a few comics..........

If it's a puzzle or a war plot i think it will be cool I'm ready for a war, i mean, i feel i'm equipped enough to get a decent score this time round. If it's a puzzle plot then that will be great too, however, i logged in to PPT 2 hours after the discovery of the M.I plot finale, so i got something round 9459 place This time, i hope to get at least in the 100-1000 mark

I vote for a puzzle war, where you can solve a puzzle by battling for hints or, if you're not a battler, you have to look for clues. Makes both sides happy then if you can get clues from battling or loking around.

Battling would be faster, but maybe hints are harder to tell from a defeated opponent...


I hope I get my DSL back before this plot gets too deep.

what i would like to see is a combo plot, not just fighting, but a little brain power as well, because i have a rediculously stat unbalanced pet with his strength below 20 and his hp about 100, due to the lab ray but i like puzzles, even though i'm so slow at them. if its just fighting, i don't expect to be rushing to the computer every 5 minutes like i did for mystery island.

a combo plot would benifit both camps, those with strong pets or just like the fighting, and those who don't but can deal with the puzzles

Meep.. Not another war, please?! Maybe a small thing with a wee bit of combat, but nothing like the Meridell Plot!
When was the last fully fledged puzzle plot, anyhow? Two years ago?

I learned my lesson with the MI plot: if it involves endless refreshing on a page and/or buying expensive items I plan to totally ignore it. A plot where you do fun things to solve it is a different matter.

A war is good, but I hate the inflation it brings since I'm already trying to stock up on things for an IDB war.

I belive that they based it on a comment in either the New Features or the editorial (I'm leaning towards the editorial) with the mention of possible "villians" to fight.
