Well, I can't see what it actually looks like, though one person's lookup their sidebar doesn't match what's underneath .. that's the only thing I know. I actually don't much care how they change the links on the sidebar (I'm sure they'll all be ones we need and use all the time :)), I'm very interested in this top bar - which everyone by now knows I don't like ... from the ss I've seen. That's why I would love to be a tester. To see how it looks, how it works and if I can actually physically handle having 2 shockwave things on the same page without getting dizzy or falling over (literally).

I was playing around, and came up with this as a possibility - so many people were giving ideas/suggestions on what should or shouldn't be on the new sidebar - It's here: (lemme get the link) EDIT: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... &start=150

Right now? I prefer the old one so I can actually restock. :x

Once that's fixed, I think I'll like the new one very much.

Personally, I prefer the old one. :) Only option I love with the new bar is the clock right there, and the neat little event icons. Still fun to play with the new one, but I don't see why it's necessary to replace the old unless the sponsors are demanding more notice with big ads....

I like your version, i must admit it would be nice to have a link direct to your guild as alot of people spend tons of time in their guilds. I know thats the first thing i usually do when i log on.

I have quite a slow computer so im hoping that having 2 ads isnt gonna slow it down even more......especially when im trying to beat neoquest II on evil......curse those bearogs! I guess everyone will soon get used to the new one though and it doesnt seem to be causing too many major problems.....oops did i just jinx everyone :P

Mm, viewing some of the screenshots did show me what I guessed would happen, like the front page layout messing up slightly. :P But generally, it looks great! I'm also hoping the flash ads won't take long to load.

(If it's still available for grabs, I'd be happy to take a beta test as well. My username's yoshistar4.)

i'm quite fond of the new one, but if they decide not to use it i wont be too dissapointed.... i have quite a fast computer and a fast internet connection tho....

I perfer the new one, IF Adam fixed the broken link imaeges for netscape and Mozilla users.
I'm not having a peroblem RSing and I can easily fix my look up to fit the change, so i like it.


I gotta say the text under the sidebar links are still following the old version.

A favor? Could someone who is a tester and has a plain lookup and one with a banner, side and background please take a ss - just resize it small even, so the rest of us can get some sort of idea what this looks like with a full lookup and a plain one? (like even just a background ... something like that?) :hug:

Oh and Armi? Will you be willing to share the "fix" in the css for the banners? :battar:
