Urth took a running leap through the portal, and it seemed to take forever to get through the lights. When he exited on the other side he almost forgot to roll so he wouldn't land face first. Some of the others were there, so he went to join them.

After Sungiver's trick, and what with her owning the gate, Urth wondered how she managed to get all that stuff. Former mod? Family member of staff? Or just lucky? He turned his attention to the matter at hand, drawing his handgun. His rule of thumb for dealing with unknown monsters is range first, support spells and a few combat spells second, then melee, hopefully getting close enough to use his daggers.

Kyma looked around. The visions seemed to have a constant desert in them, but it wasn't this desert. This was a very normal Earth desert. The one in her visions was red, with loves of sulfer vents. She shoved the visions to the back of her mind, taking in the situation at hand. "So..." she murmured, not really sure how to finish the sentence.

Kayra ran through the portal, but tripped and landed face fairst when she came out. She groaned and stood up, shaking the dust from her clothes. Kayra glanced at Kaei and Kyma. "You two make up?" she asked.

"Sure did now I don't wanna get lost so I am gonna catch up with Mesmer and Sungiver." Kaei said as she ran up to the dragon. " Sungiver I just have one question for you...what is this quest for exactly?"

Mesmer decided that walking would take too long.

So he waved at the people who had arrived and called down, "I'll see you later. Have fun. Beware of sand worms. They love eating characters just for fun."

He then took off and flew in the direction of the sorceress. He wondered how much fun it would be to fly in a tornado and decided against it. It would be just his luck to be besting a tornado and then fall straight into it.

He followed after them curiously wondering what this virus could be. Could it be the result of some other person like himself only seeking revenge against a player or possibly something else? he didnt know he was so full of questions he didnt have anyone to ask let alone find an answer for. It was then as he stepped into the gate he felt somones prescence. It was the sorceress' she was trying to seduce him into helping her get rid of the sungiver to take her down and share in the power. (heh hope thats ok)

Mesmer was flying so fast he barely missed slamming into the invisible wall that shimmered with magic. It was the sorceress' keep all right. He wondered who could break such an enchantment except another level 40 sorceress. Any higher leveled ones and they might end up overpower the shield to the extent that it would explode with bad results for everybody. Wait a second, this was no sorceress' magical shield. It was just some weird glitchy thing in the middle of nowhere. It was back to normal by the time Sungiver had appeared.

{okay...I changed it to an effect of the virus possibly >.< if we're planning on using that as the cause of possible assassinations}

((Well I was kinda planing for us to travel through a town after trekking through the desert for a day, and then maybe getting sidetracked in the town full of theives and assassins... and then after that having to trek through a haunted forest full of evil fiends... and then we'd reach the castle of the sorceress....))

Kyma padded after the dragon, her blue fur on edge. She couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Her long claws dug into the ground - she was very glad that they were so sharp. Mesmer had mentioned a virus...maybe it had something to do with her weird power surges.

((okay, best tell every one this now, instead of wait. At page 30, we're going to end this rp. don't worry, though, well pick it right back up in a second part.just telling every one this, because it might take some time to get to the sorceress, and i think we should get to her BEFORE page twenty.))

Kaei ran after Kyma and she started walkong next to her. Kaei looked at Kyma and asked her " I was sort of wondering what this quest was for." Kaei said blushing as she looked at the ground.

Mesmer overheard and said, "We're going to find Demortayse so we can rescue him for no reason whatsoever except we're bored and want to hunt down the sorceress. Along the way, we'll probably gets sidetracked and suddenly attack windmills, claiming they're giants and then, I will faint and babble about strange things on Interface in my sleep."

"Okay, this is really scaring me? I'm starting to act and think crazily...AND WHAT'S WITH THIS PERKINESS?!!!"

Then, he jumped up and down for no reason proclaiming that a nearby dust particle was actually a henchmonkey in disguise.

{yes, my character is starting to go insane...as the helmet is still on and the doctors can't really examine his head...}

Urth decided to encourage Mesmer's madness. It was a lot more interesting than just walking along the path "Right! That's what we'll do! And then we'll find the holy grail in the castle of -Hey, is that a peanut?" Sure enough, there was a peanut lying on the ground "Wonder who left this? Ah well, it's just a peanut."

OOC: Yes, it is just a peanut. But the characters can interpret it as you wish.

Yanking off the her mask, Kyma hit Urth with her shaman staff. "For Pete's sake, leave the guy alone!" she snapped. She grumbled - seemingly incoherently - under her breath. But, something did seem wrong...Mesmer was...perky. And when a gut like that is perky, something ain't right. she thought.
