how do you change themes?

I think like species and/or colour themes would be nifty....like skunk skeiths or disco aishas, etc....

It's not implimented in the beta yet.... I'm assuming that they're reworking them (at least the Space and the Faerie theme have the old Neoboard icon)

Two pages that need to be fixed
On the Kacheekers page I clicked the "I Win" button, and the next page was all alighned to the left instead of the center, I think other pages have had this problem.
Second, I was looking at the high score list for Moon Rock Rampage and got a Random Event, but the Random Event caused the high score list to not show up. So the only things showing on the page were the Yellow Bar and and the Random Event.

Also, the high score list for Moon Rock Rampage wasn't cleared after the time-limit was introduced, and there are some insanely high scores still on there which caused me to miss the Bronze Trophy by one spot I know for a fact that if it had been cleared that I would've gotten at least a Silver Trophy, but I digress (mostly because I can't stop thinking about it, but whatever )

So, I hope the mentioned problems helped you fix some stuff.

It would be impossible to have skins for every type of PB'ed species.

And I don't care how cool they look. I don't like having an inch thick bar advertising McDonald's or the new album for a kiddy-pop star. Just change the outdated icons and keep the side banners the way they are.

You'll only scare away potential members with ads everywhere.

I don't want to see Neopets turn into Advert Attack.

Actually I've had that same thing happen several times in the past couple of weeks and I'm not testing the sidebar so it must be unrelated. The RE appears and the rest of the content just goes POOF!

OH! The space theme has stars going all the way down the background of the left side! Very pretty. And dark blue too.

I stand by my previous opinion that the yellow bar should have its stars going down the left side as well as the top.

Thank you ... all these "skins" are nice, don't get me wrong. But I'm beginning to feel that they're a distraction to turn our attention away from that huge flash ad sitting in our faces on every single page.

Whether there are stars on the side I don't care - probably be doing my own sidebars again - once I have the new thing and know that the buttons are set for sure.

Ok. After using the new bar for a day now, something's really DISTURBING me.

1. Nothing loads for me, not even the sidebar, ad at the top, OR NQII Thanks to the new toolbar I made completely NO progress today on NQII NOTHING loads...NOTHING!!!!



2. Ok.Pages are taking EVEN longer to lond for me today than yesterday. And when it does, all I get is white, or if I'm lucky, red crosses

I'm on dial up, so unless something is done so I can actually SEE anything, the new toolbar is bad.No, EVIL!!!!EVIL!!!!

Hmm, that's odd, I have only had a couple of small problems, I wonder what could be causing it for you.

I do not have the new thing yet - I wasn't chosen. But I can tell you that I was on the site tonight and it was very laggy, some images weren't loading right or at all, and just even trying to log out - I had to click the logout button like 5 times before anything would happen.

I am sorry that nothing at all is working for you...especially since you're doing NQII - that is one frustrating game to me.

I'm going to guess? that they're working on stuff and hopefully you'll be able to get things going again soon.

Oh, and another thing; I personally think there should be a Royal Acara or simply Royal themed sidebar

Thanks, I was frustrated about it and went off to complain to my dog....Now I just have to go without Neo for a day or 2....Yup, until they fix it.

Remy, I'm gonna take a (wild? dumb?) guess on the whole themes thing - that those are for specific areas of the site, like faerieland, haunted woods, etc. ... when you visit those worlds you'll see those themes.

Of course, I could (probably) be completely wrong and somehow people will be able to choose one of the sidebars - maybe a checkbox on the user pref page next to the about me box where you put your css codes?
