Execution, Day 8

Q brought everyone together in the war room with a quick snap of her fingers. This time, nearly all of the group was chanting, "Execute Light! Execute Light!"
"So, you want to execute Light?" Q asked.
The group yelled together, "Yes!". Roxas and Matterbug pushed Light forward.
Q looked down at Light. "Any last words?"
Light glared over at Roxas, and then the others. "No."
Q snapped her fingers and a phaser came to her hand. She aimed and shot, striking Light squarely on the chest. He stepped backwards slightly, but managed to stay standing, much to the disapproval of the rest of the room.
"Hm. Looks like this is your lucky day. Maybe Penguin's vote wasn't big enough," she added, cheekily.
Q snapped her fingers and disappeared, leaving the others to go about their business.

Result: Light was executed but survived.

Night 8

After a frustrating attempted execution, TOSO and Matterbug were walking along the Promenade. Just as they passed the Infirmary, a streak of phaser fire came out of nowhere, aimed at TOSO. Lucky for TOSO, though, it missed him entirely. A little stunned, they decided to duck into the Bajoran shrine to look around.
A few minutes later, in Quark's, Dyl and Miyu slid up to the bar. Susannahmio joined them, and they all ordered. When Quark filled their orders, Miyu looked at Susannahmio's rather strange and frothing drink. "What is that?" she asked.
Susannahmio shrugged. "Some sort of house specialty? Why? Jealous because you only ordered Root Beer?"
Miyu shot her a dirty look. "I happen to *like* Root Beer. Besides. At least it's non-alcoholic. I won't wake up with a splintering headache tomorrow..."
While the two were quibbling about their drinks, Dyl stood and walked over to the Daboo table. As he was watching the game, someone came up from behind him and attacked with a sharp weapon. Dyl got out of the way in time to only be sliced in the arm, but still fell over. In the commotion that followed, the attacker slipped away, unidentified. Miyu and Susannahmio helped Dyl to the Infirmary to get patched up.

TOSO was attacked, but the attack completely missed.
Dyl was attacked with a Kar'takin. He survived.
Day 9 begins.

Why was I acting like nobody was voting for me? I wasn't "acting" like nobody was voting for me, I just didn't post. Since, by the time I got online : I had already been done in.
