Hey, I gots a question. If someone had a Resurrection, and then they were killed, but they hadn't acted yet that round, could they use it on themselves?

Umm, I'll say no. The Resurrection wasn't meant to be just a Second Chance to live longer. Although I might make a special item like that for next game.

Round Twenty-Three Start!

Random Events:
-SuperTyma feels her superpowers slowly diminish until she is just Tyma again. Then she dies. SuperPickles, once again, gets the credit and 2 Kill Points, while Penguin gets 1 Kill Point.
-Siouxper gets a Group Damage.
-Ammer gets Weakness for 3 rounds.

Ammer - 29 HP - Group Damage, Shockwave, Thyora's Tear Status: Weakness (3)
SuperPickles - 45 HP - Weak Healing Potion, Strong Healing Potion, Wet Snowball, Drain Life Potion, Thyora's Tear Kill Points: 2
Typhoon - Killed by Pickles in Round 6
Ella - 14 HP - Resurrection
Siouxper - 31 HP - Weak Healing Potion, Weak Healing Potion, Weak Healing Potion, Weak Healing Potion, Group Damage
Penguin - 8 HP - Weak Healing Potion Kill Points: 2 Status: Fury (1)
Wind - Killed by SuperTyma in Round 16
Tyma - Killed by SuperPickles in Round 22
DM was on Fire! - Killed by Tyma in Round 9

Siouxper HITS Penguin and HEALS ella

Ah, Penguin. You forget. It doesn't start until NEXT round. So they can still hit you (and get 2 points for it). Crazy, that is right, right? Since that's how it worked last time...?

Will that actually go end up going into effect if he dies this round (binding Ammer and Ella without him), or will the alliance die when the alliance creator dies? Just curious...

Yes, the alliance won't be in effect until the start of the next round, so Ammer and Ella are still allowed to hit Penguin if they want. And, yes, there will be an alliance between Ammer and Ella regardless of whether Penguin dies this round or not, which is just purely diabolical.

And that makes Penguin my favorite player this game. He wins that award at least.

EDIT: Oh, and I know these questions will be asked... so here are the answers ahead of time:

Q. If Penguin is resurrected, will he automatically be allied with Ammer and Ella?
A. No, items and statuses are not carried through death.

Q. If Tyma is resurrected, will she still be able to hit for 4 damage and heal for 2?
A. No, everything is lost once you die.

Drat. I made my move expecting differently. Ah, well. Such is life. Now, to see which of them kills him and takes Tyma's place.

...if I were to buy an alliance slip now, could I make an alliance with someone already in an alliance (IE, join the alliance with ammer/ella), or is that not possible? Just curious.
Edit: yes, I ask lots of questions. Sorry if that's annoying.

Darn, someone finally asked a question about a situation that I'd never thought of...

Okay, hypothetically let's say Penguin died this round, and then you allied with either Ammer or Ella and Siouxper. In that case, Ammer or Ella (whichever you picked) would hypothetically not be allowed to hit anyone, which would force him/her to be inactive or use a healing item.

And as the Alliance Slip wasn't meant to be used to completely cripple a player (just to mildly cripple them as in what players they're allowed to hit), I'll have to say that alliances cannot be overlapped. Of course you're free to ally with Siouxper, though.

EDIT: And it's fine; I love answering questions.

What if I just joined with ammer AND ella? IE, took penguins place? Sorry, just wanting to make sure before I plan out my next actions.

Umm... I'm still saying no here. If you want to ally with them, you'll have to wait until it expires or until one of them dies. Or you could just ally with them without a binding contract.

Okay. Makes sense. Now, just to decide what to buy now.
