The shop I restock at usually restocks within the last 3 seconds of the first 10 seconds of the minute. ^_^

i played it the other day (first time ever, waste of money, grrr) with the new toolbar and it was fine...

I've had that error before (the day after it came out), it has nothing to do with the toolbar. It usually does fix itself after a day or two.

I've had another thought...has TNT thought about accepting donations for the site? I know the site will never be pay to play, or will try not to be, but why not set up a way for players to donate to the site to try to keep it ad-free?

I don't know if I like it... (I missed beta testing) the big ad on the page looks confusing

I think it would have worked in the early days, however, since Neopets is big business now the idea isn't kosher.

I agree with Rune, I think donations would have or could have been possible when the site first started and had no sponsors, etc. But once it became a business I think? it's kind of like the idea of volunteer monitors - state and federal laws I don't think would allow that type of thing.

Besides, even if they did accept donations, people would be sending just the very minimum amount (probably once) and expect the best possible service/site. Have seen that on other free sites that have done the voluntary donation thing.

As to how you know exactly when a shop rs'es is totally beyond me! Of course, if you're on dial up, you'd have to get to the shop earlier as it usually takes a little longer for a page to load.

The wheel of knowledge I've never spun, I did try Monotony a couple of times and gotten a blank/not loading page. That was early on though. Haven't been back.

I wonder when the toolbar will be put up for everyone? I need to see the links/placement on the sidebar so a) I can start getting used to them (always clicking the wrong things ); b) to see if I am able to get pages to load (not too long) and just in general if I'll be able to handle 2 ads vying for attention (and not having a fit of vertigo); and c) so I can get started on fixing all my lookup sidebars *sigh* and playing with the css code for their placement and topbanners. A couple of lookups will just be "scrapped" - the "banner" was part of the background.

Yes, even if I have to really cut back my time because I just can't handle the ads, I'll still change and offer lookups. Silly, huh?

You're right. I've also noticed thatn when I first load or refresh a page it says AM for the first second the jumps to PM and stays there.

Another thing... I had noticed before that I was only getting Neopets ads in the banner. I assumed it was because the other ads hadn't been implemented yet, but they obviously have for others, so I guess I'm just not getting them. I have some sort of ad-blocking program (it came with some other program I got). It blocks some ads on sites.
Anyway, It seems to be blocking all non-Neopets ads from the top banner. My question is, did the smaller side banner have non-Neopets ads too?

Im only getting neopets ads too, and i dont have anything blocking ads! I think some ads are only for certain countries though........Yay for the UK!!lol

I am getting off site ads, but to be honest, unless I make a point to look for them I rarely notice them because my attention is on what I'm doing and not on the top banner thing.

Clock has been fixed. (Both the 9 and the AM/PM problem.) ^_^

We were hesitant about the clock because, as Adam said, the JavaScript required would add to the page load and bandwidth. However, we played around with it and made as small as we possibly could, and we linked it externally so it should cache. Because of that, we'll try it out. You shouldn't notice a change in your individual page load times. It's hardly any code. But added up among everyone, it's a lot of Bandwidth. So we'll see how it goes.

Battledome was also fixed by the awesome Viola.

We in final testing and it should go up soon. Were there any Code Monkey requests that I haven't fixed yet?
