[It's great to see all of you again - CD, Forest Majesty, Anubis, Jade, kuroro... =)]

A few moments later, Alice and Steven were reunited and they began to briskly proceed to the underground headquarters. Slipping into a maze of dark, shadowy alleys, they made their way to what seemed to be an ordinary dead-end, and looking behind them to make sure that no one was stalking them in secret, moved aside some strategically-placed crates and old, broken furniture to reveal a trapdoor. They both slipped into the trapdoor, and after making sure the trapdoor was securely covered, descended the ladder down to the underground.

((Don't you think the had clubs back then as well? Of course I don't mean any disco and techno music, try a live jazz band instead in a dark, secluded club that is not looked upon as a good place to be in that time's society but there are still some who dare to go (in secret maybe) and have a good time.))

(Jade, you already forgot? Sarena hasn't joined Akute yet. She just walks...)

Briskly walking to a nearby pub, Sarena sat down, easing herself in to a seat. Closing her eyes, she began to count slowly, a little game she played with the bartender. Sure enough, the bartender appeared near her seat at the count of six.

"Right on time," she said, giggling as the bartender slipped her some whiskey.

"Of course, you're one of my best customers!"

Nodding, she tipped it down, flicking across the table some gold coins. Leaning closer, she whispered to the bartender, "Any news on the demons?" His face turning grim, he replied,

"If you mean THAT one, still flying about. Its like nothing you do seems to have much effect on it. From the looks of it, this kind regenerates itself by sucking energy just like the rest of dem do. I dunno what's going to happen if it keeps circling the city."

"Yeah, I figured as much. I put several holes in it with my pistol, as has many people tried, but the next time I see it, the holes are patched up like new. It has too many feeding sources. If its going to die, it needs to be snuffed out without getting to regenerate."

[CD, this is a world which does not exist. It might be advanced, it might be primitive. I do not think Jade has specified. Silja didn't specify what music it was. Maybe she should have done, but she didn't. *shrug* It's not a blasting night club with drugs and alcohol. ]

Ally shook his head. "I've been having a lot of reports of these demons. There's one circling the city. I've put as many bullets in it as I can, but it won't die. Every time I see it, it looms as good as new. It seems to be regenerating." Ally shrugged, sighing. "We need to find where it replenishes its energy. If we find it and destroy it, we might be able to kill it. Or kill it before it goes off to regenerate."

Elouai approached the pub. Maybe she wouldn't have coffee. This was the nearest place, and Elouai didn't want to walk. She sat down at a table. Soon afterward, a girl came in and the bartender hurried up to her after a few seconds' pause. They started discussing demons.

Elouai leaned closer, listening. Valuable information. They were discussing one particular one, it seemed. She motioned to the bartender. She was going to order a drink.

Merle had been sitting in the training room below, when Seiryu passed by. The slender rifle man had a pretty good memory for names.. as well as for people and places.

He had drunk a few glasses.. eyeing down, he corrected himself, several. But hey, there weren't so many moments in the year that the Akute celebrated.

Yet, he lifted himself off the ground. Recalling something he still needed to ask Lance. Thereby, it was soon after Eiryn and Seiryu met up with their leader, that Merle slipped also into the room.

Katrina eyed the group standing flocked around Lance for a minute, listening quietly on the ongoing conversation. With a sigh she walked over to a nearby canapé and sat herself down leaning comfortably backwards and crossing her legs.

"Demons you say eh? I've seen some, they seem to be drawn to the dead in a way, or then it's the Akute they want. A week ago or so one turned up from no where when I was walking outside late a night, it circled around me for a while and then disappeared. I don't think they will be satisfied with just floating around for that long," Katrina said calmly and smiled slightly while lifting up one of her eyebrows.

Sarena looked over to the girl who motioned closer to the conversation, then turned back, softly saying, "I think you have a customer." to the bartender, which I shall reveal that his name is Adner.

"Oh, terribly sorry, what is it that you desire?" he asked, taking what we would call a slight "British" accent, to cover up the discussion.

"Some whiskey, perhaps? Or maybe imported Sake? We have quite the vast selection here."

(Writer's block. Blehhh.)

Elouai shook her head. "No, thank you. I'd like something non-alcoholic. Something that isn't water," she added, darkly. She found water bland and uninteresting, and had done ever since she'd tried it when she was three.

[Oy. I also have writer's block. My creative juices have gone 'poof' this evening.]

Personality: She likes to think about herself being opposite to Anka, but she is not. She is also a killer and likes it. She however is quite extroverted, loudmouthed and quite annoying at times. More to come through in RP
Appearance: Long flowing black hair, piercing, very light blue eyes. She is quite skinny and looks quite defenceless. She wears men's clothing.
Weapon(s): A double barreled gun, the handle is golden there is a picture of a Golden Dragon twirling around the barrel.
Other: Because she wears men's clothing, many think she is a man at first sight.))
Grace heard him. Shouting. She rolled her eyes. He hadn't come running when she'd shouted to him. He'd just sat there, looking at the dead bodies.
'What a freak.' She thought. 'Why did I have to get stuck with him on this assignment?'

Anka rounded the corner to see her walking.
"There you are. Why did you do off?" He asked her.
"Why did you sit there for 10 minutes watching to dead bodies?" She shot back at him.

Anka's eyes widened. He'd never done it around anouther person before. He went quiet. Grace raised her eyebrow at him.
'Freak.' She confirmed to herself.

Menai wasn't the kind of girl who spoke very much. Her life consisted of killing and giving chilling deathglares. When was the last time she had contributed to a discussion? But now, she felt the need to voice what was in her head.

'I don't think it's that they're drawn to the dead, but they're born from the dead,' she stated, quietly and calmly. 'Unless the one we just encountered just thought it would be fun to somehow sneak under a large pile of dead bodies and then leapt out in a surprise attack for some reason.'

[To Jade: I thought we were only allowed to have one kind of weapon? I was given the impression that if a character chooses a gun, he/she can't have a sword/knife.]

A small group had gathered at the bottom of the stairs leading to a party, one of them being Lance, the leader whom they were supposed to report to. Alice turned to Steven with a silent, meaningful glance, and he nodded, understanding what she was trying to convey. Constructing a brief report in his mind, he made his way up to the group, with Alice following closely behind. Upon approaching the group, they noticed a few other members were present, some of them whom they could vaguely recognize, and a few whom they knew pretty well.

Grace continued to Ignore Anka. She hated him. He always questioned what she did.
'Why'd Lance put him with me? He knows I hate him.' She asked herself

Anka was looking away from Grace.
'Where does she get off thinking she's better than me?' He asked himself. 'I'm ten times the fighter she is. I'd kill her with one arm tied behind my back.'
He looked towards Grace and glared at her. She was looking the other way.

They saw the Headquarters looming in the distance. It was a releif to them. It meant that soon they wouldn't have to be near each other again for a while.

They both broke into a run, Grace was faster.

"Demons?" Eirynn confirmed, shivering. She looked around the small group, trying to find someone who had the same fear in their eyes as she had in her heart. Her heart beat steadily, but her chest felt as though it was made of ice. "Demons...." she repeated, shaking her head slowly, her magnificent hair flying every which way.
