"if you mind me asking, who are you?" He thought a moment before asking his next question. "and where am I?"

he decided to confuse the stranger a bit, so SHE knew just how confident he was with others of his kind. He Stared at her a moment, then smiled and sat down in his rump.

~She probably thinks I'm either insane, or down right stupid,but this works most of the time...worked in front of that herd of elephants...~

Nia swatted at the head of her young cub, Kindling. He went by Ling, most of the time. He kept trying to bite her tail. She knew, as a mother, that this was usual behavior for cubs. But Ling's teeth actually hurt. Nia swatted again, but Ling kept biting.

Well, he's just a cub, and all scars heal in the end, Nia told herself, agreeing to let the cub bite and pounce on her beautiful tail. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the trees behind her. In a second, she was on her feet, with the cub in her mouth, scrambling towards a hiding place.

The wounded zebra, blood running from his thighs, sprang out of the bushes. He was breathing hard. Yapping for help.

None of the other zebra's where near, though.

But a small cub was in front of it.

The zebra clawed forward with its front-hooves.

Niniane smiledd to herself and jumped out from her hiding spot and lunged at the wounded zebra. She bit through the throat in one swift motion, and pulled the anime into the forest with her. She let her cub have the good meat, and she ate what he couldn't. She then left the carcus in the forest, picked up the cub, and ran- for she knew that where there were hurt animals, there were the predators that hurt them.

Aret sighed and rolled onto her back. This was indeed a boring day. She was getting eager for the hunt to be called.

confused as he was, he had no time to dwell on unanswered questions, he got up and started to trot in a random direction...

Tulkas jumped out of the bushes, only to almost thumble into a dead zebra. Half-eaten.

She growled, "who!"

The other hyena's, however, surrounded the carcas, eager to eat.

Aret growled unpatiently to herself. "That's it, I'm going alone then." She said aloud to no one in particular. She left the area at a trotting pace, eager to hunt.

Mijisuu snarled, auds back. Appendages locked, crania lifted upward, his roar echoed across the Savannah. He shouted, "My peace ceased? For this?!" A fire burned within his mahogany optics, gargantuan paws allowing claws to come from retraction. "Hyenas...in my home?!" he snarled. Swatting at the hyenas, he snarled murderously.

Zehrin stood, and trotted after her friend. "If we see the others, then they may join us. However, I agree with you." She tilted her head, and sniffed, trying to catch a scent of prey.

Zehrin agreed. "I think I smell a Zebra nearby. Do you?" She flicked her tail, looking at the lioness. "And it smells wounded."
