When I was younger, my brother Jacob and I would stay up on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come. It wasn't because we were excited for presents and wanted to open them as soon as they came (although that may have been part of it!) but we honestly believe that we were lost Elves that belonged to Santa (obviously we weren't as tall then!) and that when he came we would run out and he would see us and go "OMG MY ELVES!" and take us to the North Pole to live forever.

We would even check our ears a few weeks before Christmas. "Are my ears pointy yet? When they're pointed, that means we're full Elves!"

I thought I was the only one that did that. xD I mostly do it to the computer or whatever. Lately, whenever I come home for the weekend, I yell at the house and general and say stuff like "You stupid house!" Then I proceed to kick one of the walls.

Speculation Central - Thinking about the future... Today!

the same thing happened to me when i was camping.

ok, this has made me remember more.
Once when i was really little, I was in the grocery store with my dad, and there was a tall guy in front of him wearing the same color pants... I wasn't paying attention (and i was short, so all i really looked at was the lower half) and i walked up and grabbed his hand instead of my dad's.

and another time I was in about... 3rd or 4th grade, and i was wearing a dress my mom had made me... but it was too big. So i was yelling at this guy because he was making fun of me, and I was kinda leaning over... and he interrupts me and goes "I can see right down your dress" I was MORTIFIED.

and one last one... (in my opinion the best)
I was in san francisco on a field trip in 4th grade, and we went to the fortune cookie factory. We all got a bag of fortune cookie mess-ups, and i was walking along reading my fortune which was "You have a natural grace."
As i was reading it i walked into a parking meter.
One of those "God laughing hysterically at you" moments.

Ooh, I do that too! I don't really feel embarrassed by it, but I do yell at inanimate objects. A LOT. Sometimes I get physically violent...I remember last year, I would've gotten arrested for child abuse if my binder had been my offspring.

Omg, I did that too! It was at my cousin's wedding, I actually took the groom's hand instead of my dad's. I was only five, but I was a very shy kid and it was so embarrassing. I think I'm still traumatized.

News hour is the worst.

For me it's commercials. People do NOT dance on their way in and out of Little Caesar's because they're getting cheap pizza. Nor do they want to go to a law firm which has apparantly just discovered computers. "Look! We can put CGI tigers and random effects in our commercials! That makes us good lawyers!"

RAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH Philip Smash!

- I'm 27 and still love Chef Boyardee.
- I was so into a video game at the mall once that rather than stop playing (and lose my chance at a high score), I just wet myself. I was 10. I did not get a high score.
- I get easily distracted by pretty girls. I have, in fact, walked into a tree once as a result of this. And a street sign (not the post, mind you - the actual sign).
- I'm not a player, I just crush a lot.
- I think I can sing. I sing in public. I cannot sing.

I tend to trip over my own feet alot. A lot.
So I had this first date with a boy from my class on who I had a huge crush. He picked me up from the railway station and we both were too nervous to even look at eachother, so the conversation wasn't really coming along smoothly. We had just left the station and were now walking in the city center which was pretty crowded. So I tried to talk to him and when I did, I sort of slipped or tripped or whatever and ended up falling flat on my face. I sprained my ankle pretty bad too.

But anyway, I got up laughing and told the 100 people watching me I was okay and he sniggered and he's been my boyfriend for quite a few months now and he keeps on bullying me about how I keep on falling but that's okay.

-I like using my nintendo wii controller as a make believe microphone and sing along with whatever music I'm playing.

-I have avril lavigne and kelly clarkson (whole album) on my ipod....

On Tuesday I showed up for work... it was my day off. My boss was laughing so hard when she drove me home so I wouldn't have to walk.

I'm a zombie the first hour of my shift, I made my cup of coffee got up to the till and before taking a drink realized I forgot to pour in coffee, had a lot of irish cream creamer in it though. She almost died laughing on that one.

I am terrified of all bugs. All shape and form of bug freaks me out. I literally breakdown and come close to crying. Lots of screaming and fetal balls are involved too. The bugs don't even have to be in the same room either. Images of bugs even get to me. Just recently, Dirty Jobs showed part of their bug segment they edited out. It involved mimic bugs, and those are the worse. I'm pretty sure many, many people heard me screaming at the scary, scary bugs.
