Cute animation. It is a shame that the second item wasn't wearable.

It also seems like the 'new' artists have started. There is a big difference in quality of items from the old art.

But you can see an evolution in the art style, especially if you look through JN's item database by release. It was gradual, but Daze is right that there's a jarring difference between yesterday's and today's. The animation's art wasn't glaringly bad, at least -- it was cute -- but the music was definitely a little different, too. I know they weren't quite words, but the voice sounded distinctly human, and not petlike, which I'm fairly certain is a first (though I only ever "listened" to concerts for the avatar, and I was on dial-up at the time, so I doubt the sound really worked... so I have no idea what concert music is like, but for the AC, at least, the human voice was odd for me).
