I don't know if I like the way this set came out, I'm just happy I tried my best. Let's see if I make it to the next round. Good luck to everyone!

I have a judging question.

Say we rate a set in the Ratings board in PPT Art Tech, that is also used in this contest. Do we have to make a whole new rating for the set, or can we use the same rating we used on the Ratings board (as long as it's well-thought out and such)?
Branching off that question, would you have any complaints if I disallowed it?

Why should you disallow it? There are twenty-five entries in this competition, and it just makes things a bit easier and more fun if you don't have to rate things you've already rated.

There are reasons to disallow it.

If you don't want to rate things you've already rated, then my suggestion would be to not rate things in PPT Art Tech. If you give the rating in this competition, it will be no different than you giving the rating in Art Tech. It's just that they might have to wait a little longer to receive the rating on this board. Posting the same rating twice would be pointless.

If you are asking everyone here - I wouldn't mind at all
The only thing is the people who are using older sets have probably had theirs rated before. Isn't that the same thing?
-Kayla (I was the one who had previously requested the rating.. )

Sometimes it doesn't hurt to have more than one rating on a set. That is one of the reasons why I have 4 other judges other than myself. But anyone who posts a really old set can sort of kill one of the points of this contest, which is to help you improve.

I guess everyone doesn't think the way I do. The reason I want to disallow asking for ratings on PPTTG entries is to prevent cheating.
Let's say someone asks for ratings on their PPTTG entry before the juding begins, and they get lots of suggestions. So they change things based on the suggestions and decide, "Wow, that looks much better than it did before. Since the round isn't over yet, I can change my entry to this better one!"
Does that make sense?

Yes.

Either way, both our ways of thinking make sense to keep ratings from being posted in Art Tech for entries to this competition.

(I really need caffeine to wake myself up right now...Argh.)

Are you suggesting that it not be allowed for any graphics contestants enter in PPTTG to be rated in Art Tech? Or am I being clueless, as I sometimes end up being with a lack of caffeine?
Well...yes...What did you think I meant?

Forgive me. I'm currently making no sense, as I found out when I reread my post....
I understand what you meant. ^^;;

EDIT: Slightly modified the entry, and uploaded it to my Photobucket account, now that's it's working for me. Also reduced the size of the original picture.

It looks like there is a bit of blue in the signature.
I could be wrong, though.
