Ok, I got 3675, got the av, but how do I know if I won that Better than You? I've never done it before. I clicked the "Challenge..." button, played, sent the score, now what?

Don't tell me I played DD for 2.5 hours straight for nothing!

I've won BTY before, I can't win it again.

My High-Score of Dubloon Disaster is almost 1000. I get alot of whirlpools.

I think 48 is a fairly good score considering i got only 2's. I need to get 200's to win it

I got this one as av 98, scored 1016 (only 2 100pt coins, no 200)

Some good DD tips...

Full screen helps, as with most games.

I have no sound anyways, but turn that off, it's one less distraction. When the main page shows up, click on 'graphic options' and turn all that off as well. All you are left with is a nice and clean blue playing area.

I like the get 2 mines, blow em up method.

Try to keep the boat facing so that up is up as much as you can. Most of my trouble was caused by forgetting that the controls follow the front of the boat, not the whole screen.

NEVER try and turn close to a mine, or when getting a dubloon that is going to cause a mine to pop up. Always go straight so you can try and book it out of the way if necessary, turning takes too long.

Don't let your kitten (or any other animal that may apply) distract you.

I scored 801 in dubloon disaster and got the avatar. I thought the required score was much higher - anyway - i am happy

Haha, I just got 802, and I was all like, why did I get the av? The last time I checked people were saying it was 1,000 I'm all happy because I was getting all smurf that I messed up before 1,000, then it popped up and, Surprize! haha

Oh, yeah, and mine was all glitchy, I had a whirlpool pop up like 20 coins into it, then 4 more appeared, but disappeared before they did anything. When did 50, 100 and 200 dubloons become so rare? I didn't get any of those
