To add insult to injury, my board was the third one in this series to be deleted. But I didn't receive any official warnings after they deleted the board. And I haven't been iced... yet. I don't know if it's just luck, or if the monitor's fingers got tired from hitting the "freeze" button.

Now, we shouldnt give answers out..... but we should be free to help eachother out. It's called freedom of speech, dudes. They cant make us not talk about the mystery pic, can they?

I hate to say it though, when I look towards the Neoboards people have been afraid about posting the answer or even a clue because they run the risk of being iced so it isn't a new fear on the Neoboards. But why crack down sometime after this new system was implemented than when it starts?

If they shove all these new rules without warnings... I wold think it would be best to place it on something like the Mystery Pic's page. Of course that would be asking too much from those who have an itchy freezing finger.

I read the first five boards, posted on #6 and commented on the missing topics....ie: was there when jas and alex's boards got wiped..there seemed to be no rhyme nor reason especially as a different board with 493 posts was still open!

I honestly think this is tnt's response to the Lenny C being posted all over the boards....BUT they NEEDED to advertise the fact that you could not discuss anything about comps like the Lenny C or Mystery Pic.....I bet someone came to work, read the memo meant for today and started freezing / warning without realising it had not been announced as a warn/ freeze offence.

Exactly. I never post on the neoboards. I think I've posted on them 3 times in all the years I've been on Neopets.

Although I can understand why TNT doesn't want the answers to be given out, I think the least they could have done was made a general announcement or something before randomly cracking down on it.

Ok, they didn't delete any more MP boards after 6 am NST, UNTIL about 15 minutes ago, 3:15 pm NST. They just deleted another MP board, with no objectionable posts that I could see, and it was only on Page 7. My guess -- it's probably a new shift change of monitors..

Sheesh, I haven't even logged in yet today (actually now tonight my time), I always come here first to see if anything's up.

Ahh, the "or anywhere else" ... that sounds kind of like the no-contest rule. That one states on or off the site. So technically, that means there shouldn't be any topics about the MP or the LC or anything else here or any other forum/board.

It does sound like new monitor overzealousness to prove they're worthy of the job to me. I really hope no one else gets warned, that nothing more happens to anyone who did get a warning and I really hope the person frozen (especially without a warning) gets their account back.

and it think with the new monitor being overzealous, maybe they might want to do something about the 400+ message board

i'm just really sorry for the one person who got frozen over this, it just seems so unfair.. if they want to make it a freezable offense it would be better if they announced it was so, and then only warned the people who posted after it was announced, not before, because thats incredibly silly.
