My current lab pet started out as a red Zafara...then it was zapped into a few colors (none of which I can remember) and then into a Kacheek..turned jelly..then island, pink and then jelly again and now spotted. So the best color I ever got was jelly. I'm planning on eventually changing my lab pet into a Darigan pet..so I'm only zapping for stats. If it was a jelly Shoyru or something..I might have kept the color..but jelly Kacheeks..meh.

My other lab pet before this one ended up getting to 150 hp and 57 strength before I stopped labbing him...so I think the lab ray is beneficial.
