O_O!! It's still down! It's been... 13.. 14 hours? :P

Is it always like this when they are going to update a plot? I recall last year during the MI plot it was down for a long time too and we had to look at the coconut jubjub for.. eons.. while analyzing that page for a whole lot of clues :P

That's probably why. It makes sence that when a website recieves a huge update it'll be down for awhile.

The hole in Meridell just seems to be another daily thing, but it hasn't made it onto the map yet (or has it?).

The hole is on the map.. a bit bottom right to the turmaculus.. I think.. lol

I want to see what that little blue dot in Faerieland does! Oh well, I'll just have to wait. Still, it's weird that they've been down for around 11 hours...

for those playing over 4 years they must remember that things like this happened almost everyweek, and there was never an announce ment or anything... I also feel that the support staff might be doing their job correctly a Friend of mine send them multiple emails about a database problem and they still have not solved it since JULY!!!!!! 4 months of database errors and no one can take 5 minutes to fix them? I think as they grow more, they will have many bigger issues to deal with. I just hope they are serious about dealing with them.

I can say as an expereinced programmer (I have even written database systems from scratch,) no problem is going to be fixed in 5 minutes....especially a large one. A fix may require loads of downtime.

It has been down for 13 Hours now. It was said to go down around 6 US Eastern Time. 3 US Pacfic Standard Time.

I can't log in to my account so I'm like totally stuck. Given though I've got great practice on Freaky Factory or whatever it's called. Not that bad of a game really...Though Snowmunch seems to be an old version because he isn't going as fast as he should be.

I called the hotline... they said the site was down for 'matainence.' I heard some people talking in the background, and I swore I heard someone say 'plot,' but I'm not sure.

I would laugh so hard if everyone's accounts got deleted and the whole game started over.

Not like something that wonderful will happen this time. I'm still logged in on the few pages that show up.

Oh well, maybe next time...

It IS a part of the plot. View the page source. It'll direct you to a link somewhat like this:
http://www105.neopets.com/
There might sometimes be a ".sjo." in there. Look in the source again and it'll say <!-- where_is_oracle --> in green.
I don't know what it means but it's driving me mad!

105.neopets is just another server and it's down as well. Oracle is the database software, I don't think it's plot-related.

I dont know if you've posted this yet, but another glitch due to the site being down is that you can click on the stones in the Haunted Woods and a new window will open.
