Changed my post above to my current thoughts. I'm guessing that we can choose to open one of several mystery boxes in Room G1. It will have something like a role or power in it but once you choose you cannot change, probably means that if two people pick the same box, something happens. We can't choose on Day One though, there's also something that looks like we can vote on something

Also, I'm guessing that a timebomb starts on the first Non-MC post. I'm guessing however that it started the first time that somebody other than Scotty posted on this thread, meaning every post we make may be affecting the time bomb.
