Upset.

I feel like my father feels like going to Chicago to see his girlfriend/fiancee and her family is more important than me. He promised me we would go shopping this weekend, so I could get a new purse which I needed for school. When I texted him this morning, to ask to go for breakfast, he told me he was in Chicago, so I just said "Oh, so we're not doing anything, then. At least I already got a new purse, since you were SUPPOSED to take me this weekend."

Exhausted... I've only gotten about 3 hours of sleep thanks to tropical storm Fay. There have been tornado warnings at least once an hour, if not two or three times an hour. It looks like one actually touched down about 2 miles away... yikes. But, at least my school was smart and closed for today 'cos this storm is going nowhere fast.

Gross. And disappointed. I think I caught (another) cold -- I caught one on my way up to PA, and I guess I caught one on my way back to GA. It sucks because I'm supposed to be in Cocoa Beach with my parents right now. I couldn't travel yesterday because of the storm, and I was too tired to drive through it today... So it looks like I'll be sticking around Atlanta until classes start. Which means I should actually tackle that "to do" list (unpack from summer/subletting, clean apt after gross subletters, order textbooks, find thesis project, submit IRB approval, etc., etc.) -- but I don' wanna -- I want to bum at the beach!!!! /whine
