I've never heard of this Jazz person...is he famous?

Jazz is just a normal Neopets player who just happens to be in second place in avatar collecting.

And have about 80 trophies. And a bunch of Krawks.

Also, the idea of just one person on an account at a time is flawed as well... Who gets the preference? first or second person? As stated on that storage account, he didn't log off of a computer... Didn't say if it was a different computer than normal... but if it was different, then the person there was logged on first, and Jazz wouldn't have been able to log on and save his stuff.

He has been frozen before and I witnessed it first-hand on the boards. He came on another account and posted that it was a hacker. The hacker also said that he was a hacker. Or she.

I know exactly who you are talking about--and you do not know all of the facts. That supposed suicidal person was in my guild and had aim'ed me several times while he was in the guild. In other words, we were somewhat close. After his account was frozen, he accused Jazz of doing it and wrote some really threatening things in his in LJ about Jazz. Really life threatening--stuff that could throw you in jail. In other words, egged Jazz on with the words he used. The guild dissociated itself with the "suicidal" person after we read what he had written about Jazz.

EDIT: And, I would just like to add that there seem to be quite a few jealous people here. Shame on you! And, I mean it. I don't know Jazz at all, but I have the utmost respect for him--and for anyone else who plays the game. Unless he has done something personally to you--not to someone who knows your sister's best friend's cousin's maid's daughter--you really don't have the right to say anything bad about him. He is a very famous Neopian--and has been through the good and the bad of Neopets. Anyone who has been able to stick out playing this game for as long as he has deserves applause. Honestly, some of you sound like some of those jealous folks on the chats who are always knocking Featheralley--for no other reason but the fact that she is an old timer, has a really huge account, and great pets.


And, by the way, not just the "rich" "special" folk get unfrozen in a day. My daughter's account was unfrozen last year 24 hours after I emailed two staff members. And, we aren't "in" with Neopets in anyway whatsoever.

Guys, not to sound silly or petty, but do we really need a topic like this? Does one person who isn't even here at PPT who self iced an account because of a security breach really need 4 pages of responses?

It's just an account, of a person...Jazz is just a person. A player, like any of us. I don't see why the big deal

He's not a bad guy from what I can tell from the bits that we have chatted, but I still scratch my head as to why he has so many "Neofans".

I use the term lightly, because IMO a lot of them are more like "Neostalkers".

Anyhow..this is going to be my only and last post on this board, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. To me it feels funny to be discussing this "event" so in depth when Jazz isn't here. I just didn't think PPT was a place for gossiping about other players.

No offense to anyone, just had to say it, ya know?
