I wanted to discuss the books, can I do that in here? What I wanted to talk about was some things I have seen posted on another forum. These aren't my ideas, but are very interesting.

What the centaurs know:

When Firenze rescues Harry fromt he forest, the other centaur wonders why he is doing this. They are talking and you should really read this part again. The centaurs know something! Perhaps they have forseen Harry's death! The other Centaur tells Firenze that he is "setting himself against the stars" by helping Harry. But Firenze says "Don't you know who this is? The sooner he is out of the forest, the better." But better for who? Firenze is actually changing history as far as the other centaurs are concerned. Perhaps they think History should not be tampered with and if the stars say Harry is to die, then the sooner the better. But Firenze saved Harry that night. What may have Happened if Harry had to fight Voldemort that night? Would Harry have died that night as the stars suggested? But it didn't happen thanks to Firenze. What motivated Firenze to save Harry? Does he really care for Harry or does he ultimately want to save his herd and his species? And if the Herd is in danger, would they want to be saved? It seems to me that most centaurs would bow to death if it was foretold in the stars, to save themselves would be going against the stars. Firenze thinks differently than his herd does. He might save them, but they may not see him as a hero for saving them. They may see him as a villian for letting them escape their fate.


Another interesting Theory I have read is that Voldemort took steps to insure he could remain immortal. The Theory is that Voldemort's soul is in another place from his body. I think Harry has part of Voldemort's soul, but that is a seperate Theory. This theory is that Harry might not have to kill Voldemort, but Harry might have to find an object that has Voldemort's soul in it and then destroy the object. Maybe this is why Dumbledore couldn't kill Voldemort at the end of the fight at the MOM. He fought Voldemort, but that was just to get him away from Harry. Maybe Dumbledore knows what he is fighting isn't even Voldemort at all, but the real Voldemort is Voldemort's soul. If an object contains Voldemort's soul maybe the Malfoys have it because they have a lot of dark magic stuff at their house.
