Phew, I got really worried when the yellow bar came back...........it seems even uglier now Ive used the Haunted Woods one!! But I checked and it was under site preferences

I never got the RE and the option to turn it on isn't there now. I got to see something besides that ugly yellow thing for a little while anyway. *sigh*

From what people are saying I think it was only possible to get it at 11:59pm, I didnt see a RE but I suppose I mustve got one seeing as I still have the bar!

man, I missed it I was at the site at 11:55pm until 12:30, but didn't get the random event. The sidebar turned back yellow and I can't change it in the user preferences.

We're getting back to the unfairness of limited avatars with this, I thought that they got past it. Really having to stay up till midnight to keep is not fair to anyone (I have class this mornign and staying up wouldn't have been that good for me)

Gives me a lot of faith on how this system is going to run.

I'm betting they didn't mean for it to only happen at 11:59 without any warning at all. I don't think the Haunted Woods bar is mentioned in the news at all, is it? It was probably just a glitch since it was at the change of the day when they changed back to the Yellow Bar. It would make a lot of sense if it was just a glitch. Or they could be trying to keep the "advantages" they talk about in the editorial from being available to a lot of people? I'm stumped as to the reason for this occurance.

I think they meant it to happen. They did mention some sort of "surprise" which would happen on the turn of Halloween, and I think they were alluding to the haunted theme sidebar.

As for the specific times to get the bar - that is unfair, I agree. But then, so are many other things on Neo, such as the release of mystery pics and lenny conundrums, money tree giveaways, deadly dice, etc. However, so long different time zones exist, it would be very difficult to iron out such differences.

Especially since it was a whopping 60 second window.

This is so ridiculous that it's not even funny. And if I don't see another way of getting it surfacing soon, I think this will probably be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for me, and I suspect I won't be alone... I've had more than my fill of "Look at all this cool stuff that you'll never ever have! Aren't we great?"

If all the players went and yelled at them I expect they would come out with a new way of getting it, such as refreshing at the haunted woods or something like that. We'd better wait for the Monday news to come out before we judge TNT.

But maybe they only intend to release it again next Halloween...

So, getting the first and porbably coolest sidebar, you had to be on during a 60 second timeframe? That's crap. I sure hpe they release it again, because I was out having a real life at 11:59 they shouldn't penalize me for it.
