When our class was studying Islam, the textbook said that Muhammad's wife was named Aisha, but our other sources contridicted this information. =P

Korbat is derived from bat.... I can't believe nobody picked that up already!

Kacheek is named for its prominent cheeks.

Blumaroo-- like kangaroo. The "blum" may refer to bloom. They always seem to be flourished, or blooming. O_O I dunno.

Chomby seem to be big eaters, so the name may be based on the word chomp.

Krawk is like croc, or crocodile.

Not sure of any other ones that haven't already been said.
