That sounds like a complete cat-tastrophy, Siniri. Hopefully your cat will be like the dogs I have had in the past. They go through their terrible-twos phase and eventually grow out of it. I had a dog that would like to sleep under the bed. I thought it was to feel safe, but instead it apparently was to chew the box-spring fabric and contents to shreds. I had to make a barrier to prevent the dog from getting under the bed. My "favorite" was coming home from work, looking at the living room and having zero comprehension of what I was looking at. It finally dawned on me that I was looking at a zillion chunks carpet padding. The (same) dog had pulled the hallway carpet back and went to town on the padding underneath. Good times. She did settle down after a year or so and became one of the best dogs, ever.

Thanks, Blue. She's a sweetheart and makes me laugh. I've had her for a year now (though she was fostered until May), so hopefully she'll settle down soon.

Day 15: 18.5k

This is a stinky way to get reset, especially so close to the end. Sorry, guys.

I got a flat tire on the way home from the new job today. I only have a doughnut spare, so I have to take tomorrow off the old job in order to get it fixed (but I can work on the new job while I'm waiting). I'm still pet-sitting, so I had to drive a little bit on the doughnut tonight (and again tomorrow morning) to visit both pet houses. Hopefully I make it to the mechanic on the doughnut, and hopefully it doesn't take too long to fix (probably replace; there's a piece of metal embedded in it). .

Ugh. Bummer about the flat. Hopefully the metal is in the "repairable zone" and is not too big. Otherwise, it will be a replacement. At least you have a doughnut spare. Sadly, many new cars have no spare. I think its crazy not to have a spare. Good luck!

It was narrow but an inch long, so it had to be replaced. I would never buy a car that didn't have a spare. I'm annoyed enough by the doughnut.

Sorry you had to replace the tire. That is never fun. I am a huge fan of the full-size tire, but that is not so common anymore. Mostly just trucks and SUVs now. The little '86 Honda Accord came with a doughnut, but had room for a full-size spare, which was cheap enough at the pick-a-part to buy for piece of mind
