I hope it's doing even better today, Pickles. Mine is after lots of rest, ice, and ibuprofen yesterday, but I'm about to go to the doctor now. I'm going to get caught in traffic on the way home, but all the providers on this side of town are booked until after Thanksgiving, and I can't wait that long.

Advil hasn't helped so far. Might just need time to build up, though. I talked with my dad and he said it would likely just take some time to finish healing, and that I was doing pretty much everything available to me. If it doesn't get better in another week or so, he gave me recommendations from there.

Day 6: 19k

Hope yours feels better soon, Pickles, and you're able to rest it enough to let it heal! I was right that mine is a muscle strain. I have a referral to physical therapy but didn't have time to try to find one that can see me any time soon today. It's on top of the to-do list for tomorrow.

Next week will be crazy at work. Trying to just be organized and hope I have enough help. If not, well, things will have to be cancelled, and the week will get a lot less busy.

Advil finally kicked in and I got a decent night of sleep last night. Still not fully healed for sure, but at least it's much more manageable now! Whew!

Muscle strain is no fun, Siniri. I'm glad you'll be able to get therapy for it, though.

I feel like every week is crazy right now. I'm kinda going day to day (sometime hour to hour) just to muddle through. So many things going on...and somehow before Monday, I'm supposed to make "wings that attach to my hands so I can make them fly" for MLP. She wants to be a flying unicorn...and has the unicorn costume but it has no wings. Help? LOL Maybe tomorrow night?

I actually was able to find a therapist who could see me Friday! I'm a little worried they're not that good... I'm used to providers you have to book weeks in advance.

Glad you're feeling better, Pickles. Maybe just some flaps on the arms,? Or just borrow a pair of faerie wings with the elastic straps, if that won't mess up the rest of the costume. I know so many little girls (and boys) who have at least one of those lying around.

She is 100% adamant that the faerie wings with straps are not what she wants (it has already been offered a few times and flat out rejected). She wants fabric that looks like wings and will attach to her hands, because then she can "fly." I think she got the idea from the owl costumes some of her dance friends wore in their recital in May. Sigh. We'll see if it happens or not...we have the fabric, I just don't know if I have the time! Seeing as she is willingly reusing the same outfit as last year, though, I'll do my best.
