Wow how did you find that? Just lucky? That would be tedious to check every marked grave looking for the stragglers.

It really was just luck. I've been going through yards, picking random chunks of graves, and visiting two or three rows. If I see an open grave, I take it, but if I don't within those two or three rows, I just leave. There's no sense in wasting all that time searching every single grave in every single yard.

(And out of the 4 or 5 yards I've searched, that was the only one I found.)

Someone must be doing it, because I'm sure there are a lot of them happening, and they are eventually taken off the list.

I'm not sure why you think Neopets is lying to you, but if the site tells you you're doign well, then you're doing well. ;)

EDIT: My recollection of the page is that it says, "Good job! Blahblah 1000s of more graves BlahBlah," so I think you're doing things right.

That sounds really weird. When I successfully cross off a name, it gives me a screen with Sophie saying something about countless thousands more graves to count. Does that sound like the screen you get too?

Ohhhh. Ok, I see what you mean. You don't have to worry about your "crossing the name off" not counting UNLESS you get chased out by the caretaker. Then you just have to go back after a few seconds and re-cross your name off.

1. does anyone have a list of links to all of the graveyards or some of them that were open before? so we can maybe get to some unchecked graves?

2. is it possible to cross off the wrong name on a list? i swear i did because i didnt realize that i had seen an unchecked grave and didnt bother to remember which name it was

Earlier in the forum, they were talking about doing that before by going into your history, if you were digging up graves before, but it seems like cheating to me, and you wouldn't want to get your account frozen or anything like that...

Don't worry about crossing off the wrong name: I did that the first time, and it told me so and didn't count it. It also unmarked my grave so that by the time I got back to the graveyard, someone else had taken it.

is the list actually getting shorter? when i refresh it goes between 25 and 29 different lists right now. does that mean that whom ever had the last name in those graveyards marked it off wrong so the graveyard is opened again or am i just crazy?

Is the grave part of the site moving slowly for anyone else? The rest of the site is moving fine, but that part isn't for some reason.

That happened to me last night so I just closed down the window and opened up again. That sped things up pretty fast.
