Heh, good thing I read this first...just my Kacheek is mutant today though. It's kind of weird though how it's being marked on the calendar though...hehe.

Are there any petpets that have been mutated? Mine haven't, but I'm just wondering...

Thank you! Exactly. I'm actually having a great time now looking through the pound at all the mutants. I haven't found any that were actually a good painted color yet, though; they are all normally red, blue, green or yellow. Most of them are getting adopted by the time I get to their user lookups to check their original color! I wonder if the people who adopted them will be surprised or annoyed when they turn back into a regular pet tomorrow.

I was doing that too but then I remembered that even if i found a painted pet, I couldnt adopt it (I have 4 already) and Id feel kind of bad knowing I had someones beloved (or not so much since they abandoned it) pet, so I just threw my hands up in the air and declared defeat.

Imagine the neomails....ugh!

I have four on my main account, but only two on my other, so I could adopt one if I wanted. I'm not sure I'd want to, though -- I have a feeling that when all the pets go back to normal, these owners who abandoned pets will be crying for theirs back, and I don't want to deal with the neomails (or people possibly being really annoying and reporting me for not giving back their "beloved" pet).

I was startled to see my pets changed, and the first thing I did was to check the news to see what was going on. I couldn't find anything in the news explaining. Thank goodness I know about coming here where it is all clarified.

Actually, I dont know why I wasnt scared... when I saw it, I was excited... it startled me, but I was just like... "Whoah.. COOL!" I had a Mutant Jetsam, a Mutant Krawk, AND a mutant draik, and it was the coolest 5 seconds of my life.... then I realized it was probably just for mutant day.

mm not happy.. not happy at all even though i must admit my fire draik looks awesome mutant but i prefer fire..

I absolutely *love* my purdy mutant pets.

My Lupe turned Mutant, so I went to chat to find out what was going on. Mutant Day. Somebody said, "Look at all the Mutant pets in the pound," so I went and looked and it was rather funny. I keept randomizing and *drumroll* I found a Cybunny! (and adopted it too)

So now I have a Mutant Lupe and Cybunny for today. ^^

Actually, we know about as much as anyone else about the whole thing...the only difference is that we have the ability to look at the news and put 2 and 2 together

Heh, I saw my stupid buzz was mutant, but when I shot it, it showed it as a blue buzz I figured it had something to do with mutant day though.

i just logged in to realise that all my pets are turned to mutants exept for my tonu..i was initially quite shocked but learned later that it is a joke.
