Gwen's done quite a bit of the writing on the album, but then again, with a lot of different people. "What You Waiting For" is co-written by Linda Perry. You might recognise her for writing that "Get the Party Started" song from Pink.

(Kinda like Avril, who pretty much co-writes everything.)

Linda Perry writes good pop songs. *nods* Don't like them really, but they are good pop songs.

I love her new song! I am not a total fan of No Doubt, I like some of their songs but others are just okay. I'm going to watch the video of it now.

Well, using Ammer's link a few pages back, I decided to listen to the whole (or rather, most of the rest of what I didn't listen to the first time around) the album. You'll either really like it, like only a few songs and hate the rest, or really hate it. *blinks*

Really catchy 80's-esque stuff on some of them. It's a little disappointing though, it seems as though "What You Waiting For" is the best track and the rest are under par.

I just saw the video for "Rich Girl", it's a pirate themed video, reminded me of "Peter Pan". I suspect Gwen might be using these stories/movies as themes for her videos. I liked the video and song though. However, I do feel that "Rich Girl" needed to have a few more beats in it.
