You know, that was truly the only book of Stephen King's that I didn't like. Although the popup version was quite entertaining. I saw it at Wal-Mart the other day.

I'm reading Hostage to the Devil by Malachi Martin... it's a non-fiction about excorcism in America. Very frightening.

Hm, on top of all of my school books, right now I'm reading the Artemis Fowl series because I was lame and figured they were a Harry Potter rip-off when they came out a few years ago (which was also when I would've been more of the right age for them, I guess).. they're still good anyway And then I'm also re-reading East by Edith Pattou. Strongly recommend that one, especially since it's such an unknown.. it's just wonderful, one of the best books I've ever read. Trust me on this one - if you enjoyed HDM, you'll love this. I promise it's not a rip-off of HDM, too. It's good. Really good.

*cough* Stayed up until 6am reading Angels and Demons the other day. Now to get my hands on oh so wonderfully acclaimed sequel..

All-American Girl by Meg Cabot. Cheesy title, but the book is just hilarious. It's about a girl who (possible spoiler?) saves the president from assassination. It's pretty widely known though because it's a New York Times best-seller.

I have reade this trilogy, and thought it was absolute drivel. Pullman is not a good story teller, and the ending was so obvious. Pity really as his underlying ideas were excellent.

I have just finished angels and demons, by Dan brown. Books I would reccomend, include 1984, Slaughterhouse 5, catch 22 and most of Dan browns stuff.

I didn't think the ending was obvious.. but then again, I didn't figure out that Catherine Zeta-Jones was the real thief in Entrapment until like, the last five minutes.. about an hour after they'd actually revealed it. Pathetic, really.

Oh Jan man... I have to disagree there. You generally have a marvellous taste in bokks, but I can't comprehend how you can call Pullman drivel and yet recommend Dan Brown. Horrible writer, terribly overrated.

Oh, The Witch's Daughter was by Nina Bawden. Nothing spectacular about her stories, just some good old-fashioned storytelling.

I'm back to Alan Partridge now, but I'm going to start whatever the sequel to The Book of Dead Days by Marcus Sedgewick is- wasn't hugely fond of the first book, but I have to read sequels.
