I'm slogging my way through Evil mode right now lol... reading this board is making me very nervous about InSaNe (and I haven't even finished Evil, hah!) :)

Out of curiousity - do we lose the NQ trophies if the pet that was used to win said trophies is transferred to another account?

I don't think you 'use' any pet. If you're referring to Neoquest 1, They probably just use your pets name for the character, nothing more.

I have been following Forcemaster144's NeoQuest Guide on the In-Depth Neoquest Guide website. How many points should I spend on spectral skills? The guide is very unclear about how to spend points after level 28. (erm, it is okay to use this post for the original NQ help, right?)

Actually, not true. The game follows the pet around, but if you beat it, you get the trophy on YOUR front page. So no, it will not go away if you abandon the pet.

When I played NQ, I looked at a bunch of different guides on that site, read through their preferences, and then looked over the skill suggestions here: http://footballman.comicgenesis.com/nqmaps/skills.html

I didnt follow any of the guides precisely, but my selections were similar to the level by level selections listed at that link, and everything went well for me.

That's sort of what I meant, but how do you mean it 'follows your pet around'? As far as I know, the game only used my pets name, the character was a Lupe for the entire game, while my pet wasn't..

Thanks for the answers guys :)

I think what theonlysaneone means is that each Neoquest II game is linked to the pet e.g. say you have 2 pets, you can play 2 games (different strategies perhaps) of Neoquest depending on which one is your active pet.

For myself - I'm only using my Boochi insurance pet to play Neoquest, so if I have one of my other pets active, I'll be starting as Rohane right at the very beginning in the village and on normal level (as opposed to lab rat's game which is in Terror Mountain on evil level).

My original question (and answered by theonlysaneone) was would I lose user lookup trophies I've gained so far playing with lab rat, if I moved lab rat away to another account.

Hope that makes sense?

Edited to make post more sensible - it's midnight and I'm on day 3 of voluntary caffeine abstinence! *chews wood*

Neoquest 2 is NOT linked to any specific pet. That's only for Neoquest 1.

If you earn the NQI trophy, no matter what pet it is on, it will stay in your account forever.

Lazy artists assumed you'd never not have a sword :P Also, the picture you have is based off what armour you are currently wearing, not what sword you have.

Oh, but there seems to be a glitch with spending 25 skill points while you are still in lev.23 for mipsy?

Edit : Probably the effect of the original wand just like Rohane's fs. :roflol:

I'm at the very beginging of the game on normal mode and I have found out about the prizes after I selected the difficulty. Now how can I restart on a higher difficulty? I want to start over from on insane.

You can't. ;) You have to work your way up the ladder and beat them in order. Hence why the battledome prizes are worth so much.

Has anyone ever faced this in NQ2?

I am still at the Temple of the Skye, w/out Velm. But a monster just dropped me a "staff of friendship", which I cannot equip anyone.

Strange! Very Strange!
