Oh gods NO. They've released "how to draw a lutari." THEY'RE NOT REDRAWING THEM!!!! I'm in shock -- the response to the redraw has been mainly negative. I've heard very few people like the new look... yet they're sticking with it. Grr! Snarl! Argh!

Both face and hand parts are working now, but not the body I'm definetely considering getting a shenkuu hissi, but I have a feeling they're going to be everywhere in a few months....

Here is a kind of idea I had. I still want a jester krawk. Harlequin or Mardi Gras stuff would be nice too.

I like your drawing smudge but I think it would almost look better without the wings, notsure if thats possible to remove wings but other than that great idea

Are there/will there be any more backgrounds for pets besides the four standard? and if so where would they sell them?

I suggest everyone draw some of their pets in clothing they'd like to be useable, and post this on your pet's lookup. If enough people draw their pets wearing clothing they'd like to be useable, maybe neopets staff will see. Also draw your pet in outfits you'd like them to make


. For example, baby tonu in some clothing I'd like to be useable.

*whimper* I want those clothes... I managed to get the tail piece, but study precludes nearly all of my time on Neopets now. Want them sooooo badly... of course, affording them is a pain as well... ;.; Want that mask so much...

I think it would actually be easier and more preferable for them to start on the T-shirts. That would cover a lot of clothing items and could be done relatively quickly. They could, for example, start with one pet - say, an Acara - and put/draw/trace, say, a Red Marbleman T-shirt on it. Save. It would be a very simple matter to change the colors of the sleeves and character on the front to Yellow, Green, and Blue in Illustrator; I assume it would be in Flash too. Save each one. Bingo, they've got a common wearable item in four different colors for one of the most popular species of pet.

Then, repeat this process for the rest of the pets. Though it would still take time since there's a whole lotta species. They could ease complaints by doing the most popular species first. =p

In fact, they could do almost all the T-shirts (and hopefully Altador Cup jerseys, eventually ) in existence from one basic template, just making changes in color and details. Now, some admittedly wouldn't be quite that easy - some have shorter sleeves, others have ragged edges on the bottom and/or the sleeves, some have really elaborate designs - so those would take a little more time.

The customization program is cool, and I think a lot of great ideas, designs, and Neopets characters are going to come from it. But I really wish TNT had waited a little while longer before releasing it, because right now there's just not a whole lot to DO with it unless you can afford multiple paintbrushes or have access to the lab ray. So far I've only been able to put backgrounds behind my pets, take off my Royal Acara's princess hat, and put a Blechy hat on my Xweetok.

Now that some clothes are being released I'm beginning to warm up to customisation. I absolutely adore the thief clothes!

I was thinking about getting a speckeled elephante with mystery island attributes.... Still not sure though, there are so many options!

I wish you could save base colors in your closet as well so eventually you get all colors and you can customize with out spending beaucoup de neopoints changing base colrs, but I could also see the down side of that.

OOOO drawing clothes, sounds like fun! Alas... I have to wait till tnt decide to release mutant clothes.. gah.. it's so annoying. Look at the mutant Aisha, come on! it's exactly the same basic body shape as a regular one! why can't she even have a collar?
