Happy Thanksgiving! My plans got cancelled because two of the kids are now sick. Except I was with them for several hours yesterday, and the 3yo coughed right in my face while I was carrying him for a hike. At least I held my breath and we were outside. I'm still not completely over my cold, so I really hope I don't catch it.

(This is, of course, a 100% valid reason to uninvite someone, and I'm glad they did.)

It was relatively calm for us. But neighbors had their music on loud for TWELVE HOURS so I spent most of the day wearing noise-canceling headphones. And they weren't even outside that we could see the few times we looked out the window. I am grateful that it looks like we're getting rain/thunderstorms today...it means they won't party outside today.

We had our first frost last night. When I talked to my parents for Thanksgiving, they'd already had several, even though they live in Florida several hundred miles south of me.

It didn't actually frost, but we lit up our garden (with incandescent) anyways out of safety. We still have plenty of things growing - harvested several squash, peas, carrots, etc. And the potatoes are finally starting to sprout through the first layer of dirt.

Freeze. Frost. Both very cold :brrr:

Not sure if we have even dipped into the low 40's here. It was way too warm on Sunday putting up lights and decorations outside. Got a little "chilly" last night, though. Almost needed a jacket.
