I went to my pet reference tonight and noticed something very shocking!

My petpet, a Blue Pfish, that I've had for almost a year, was gone. Replaced with a bloop.

All sentiment aside, the money I spent on the paintbrush down the drain, not to mention it was matched up with my pet.

My question is, where did my old petpet go? And how can it be replaced with a petpet that is over 2 years old when my account and pet it's attached to aren't even an year old.

I don't do Turmie, specifically for the reason of NOT wanting to lose my petpets. I do lab ray on one pet, but I would've remembered my petpet changing if it had happened that way. Can the lab ray change the petpets anyway?

If it was a random event, I never heard of it before nor did I see it.

So, anyone know what might have happened to my Blue Phish? I sure hope someone takes care of him

And you pets weren't changed at all? That's quite weird. Maybe it's part of their database moving craze and some info from your account and another got mixed? I can't think of any RE's that effect your petpet like that. Gah, I hope it clears up for you soon. That's just too weird. O.o

Isn't there a random event where Bloops can come up to your Neopet and give it a hig or something, then it attaches to your pet? Or is that Ghostkerchief? I thought it wouldn't attach if you already had a petpet.

hehe..i sure wished that my pet's cheap petpets were all replaced with moltenores. :twisted:

Look what happened to my pet Maraqara's petpet though - originally it was a Nuranna called "Careful, I don't feed" (the Nuranna) - and then the glitch happened, and now look

What was your actual petpetpet, if any? I think it is kinda neat too to have an apple as petpetpet. Anyway, don't feel too bad about it, I am sure Neopets would fix it for you.

It didn't even have a petpetpet, which is pretty weird.. it was just a normal Nuranna and no petpetpet. How odd :|

I was considering asking TNT to do something about it but I've seen several other pets like it (another one with a green apple petpetpet, and one with grapes) so maybe they'll fix it collectively. I'm torn between being annoyed, and thinking it's wicked, I think i'll stick with wicked, especially since if they ever do a PPS on "pets_nuranna"s, I should win, seeing as mine is 34 years old according to that!

Nahh I doubt they'd freeze, cos it's not as if you could do it manually.. Anyway I'm not the only one to have it happen so they can't really single me out. I doubt they'll even notice.

As for the mazzew, that's just not fair! I want that glitch!!
