I've only recently found that ideally the site should have 5 Super Moderators, but currently there are only 4. It seems the site has been running well with only 4, but a fifth could do more for the site, and help the existing SMs.

SMs have powers on the site in addition to the powers of the MODs. One of these is the ability to take out Avatars and Signatures which don't fit the requirements. One possibility would be to have a SM specifically to go through and check Sigs and Avs on top of the ones pointed out by MODs.
The responsibilty of pointing out pointing parts of sets that don't fit the requirements shouldn't be the responsibility of regular members because they should be allowed to enjoy the site as fully as possible.

The usual choice for a SM would be a MOD, but I know I wouldn't mind volunteering to be a SM specifically for avatars and signatures. But since I am willing to do it, I doubt it would be a problem to find someone else willing to do it. At the very least it would allow the existing SMs more free time to enjoy the site too. Thus, I don't see any reason not to have a 5th SM to help keep the gears of PPT Forums running smoothly.

Ah at least I haven't forgotten about that. Although your offer is appreciated, Global Mods are for the most part chosen from the existing staff with very little exception.

We as staff don't mind getting contacted if a member points out a signature or avatar although (although I see that more that moderators are the ones who come to the GMs with that sort of stuff), I don't believe it or see it to be a responsibility of the members.

However your suggestion is taken into consideration.
