I'm just wondering what everyone's take is on fake random events that people have on their user lookups. Does anyone think that this should be a violation of the T&C on Neopets?

Some of them are really cute, but it can be a bother when they look a lot like real events. I think if people want to use them, they should have to make them somehow look different (besides the image and text), like maybe change the colors or font or something.

My take on it is that they should be banned because sometimes when I'm not in a good mood and then I see I just got a Nerkmid and I really didn't it just makes me more mad. They are just all to annoying.

Pffft, you people are too serious. Some of them are kind of cute, and they don't bother me, mainly because 99% of the time I can tell they're fake. So just let them have their fun, won't ya?

I'm not a fan of ACTUAL RANDOM EVENTS that are made fake . . . like 'Something has happened!' You find a Baby Paintbrush on the floor . . . you know, stuff that could actually happen. But I have no problem with openly fake ones.

Yeah, stuff that ends in "click here to chase the Pant devil" sort of things doesn't really bother me too much, either.
You can just tell that's fake.
It's the ones that actually trick you into thinking that it's real for a moment or two. =/

After I fell for one about finding a baby paint brush I three years ago I didn't fall for any more :D

I'm not really bothered about them, usually I know if it's real and I ignore the fake ones.

It depends. Ones like 'you've found the best lookup blah blah' you know, the obviously fake ones don't bother me. The ones that are made to look like real ones= :x
