I remember there was a usegroup called the outkasts, it was always great fun and you got meet fun and interesting people there, why wasn't it remade?

When the forums crashed, very few usergroups were recreated. I believe it was so many new boards were created, many of which were previously usergroups. The admins clearly didn't feel the need to create the usergroups on top of that :)

Divas is still around, and now we have a board specifically for music (Abbey Road) and band stuff goes there.

Even before the forum crash, Outkasts had become a fairly pointless usergroup. It didn't really have a purpose, the things discussed there were simply things normally discussed in the Miscellaneous and Entertainment boards. So after the crash, when usergroups were being brought back, it was decided (and partially at Lillie's request, and she was the one that moderated it) that it wouldn't be coming back.

But a few months before the forum crash Lillie started to give the group a purpose, to help others. We did quite a bit of giving away.

Yes, the Mafia was started and then the Outkasts was started, and there was some rivalry between them -- but on that point I'm not sure because I was hospitalised. :P

After Ven went the Outkasts got rather pointless and I tried to give it something to do, but the percentage of people who were active on that point wasn't enough to keep it going for itself. Besides, there were too many technical problems with that. :P

Another reason people liked it was it was a smaller version of Misc Disc, only with less (and more active) members. Now that we don't have more than 10,000 members, Misc Disc is good enough. ^_^
