Ok, so I was looking over the Av and NeoSig boards on the NeoBoards and i saw a Jhudora avie help thread...being the Jhudora fan that I am I checked it out and saw that this girl was asking for a loan of 10K for the have she was on level 18 and was 10K short of what she needed to buy

she finaly posted what it was a Pond of sometype and she only had 3 minutes left and she kept advocating she would pay anyone back who lent her the nps.

I looked it up and found one for 18K I bought it and gave it to her.


I didn't hear anything from her on the messageboard or neomail really didn't expect to cause I've done things like this before with no thanks...

Then I get a message a wonderfull thank you note and to please put up a trade and she'd give me 10K and give me the rest when she earned it

I just told her to keep the np's and put it on the next quest lol I got this message



I just thought that was sweet, and it really is one of the reasons I love doing this acts of kindness around neo.

As a matter of fact, I do have a nice story.

There was a guy(girl?) on the neoboard and was asking for someone to get them a blue hair brush for a faerie quest. I bought it for them, and recieved a very gracious neomail in reply along with a Mau codestone.

Ah.. thats such a cute story.. it would make me cry to if that was me, and yeah... but no.. I can't do nothing on Neopets, except for the 2nd account for my gallery! I can't wait to see Neos reply...

Aw, that's really sweet! I usually give my friends petpets and sometimes paintbrushes when they join Neo, but I've never given a stranger an item before. I do respond to any neomails asking how I got a good score on Volcano Run or whatever, though. I had one guy thank me because I was the only one of the five people he neomailed for advice that actually wrote back to him.

I think I'll try giving someone a random item sometime.

I love doing random acts of kindness. I have one friend that I gift frequently even though he keeps telling me not to. Then he gifts me back, so I gift him back even bigger. lol

I haven't given much to people from the neoboards, though. I don't even like going there for fear of the freeze ray. There are also all kinds of crazy on those boards. Who knows if I'll try to be nice to someone and send them an item and then they report me or something. I've heard of people doing that before.

When I find someone I can gift, I usually do it if I can afford it, though.

You inspired me. I just went to the quest board, looked for posts with no replies, and bought three people the random items they needed. Nothing really expensive, but hopefully it helped them out a bit.

I like doing random acts of kindness, I usualy don't go much over 20K on my items and then again it's not an everyday thing, just every now and then lol

but it's always fun

I figured what goes around, comes around. I went to the quest board and gave a person doing the searching a Blue paintbrush.

I feel good now.

I regularly adopt pets and give them petpets named "Spread the Love", then put them back in the pound. Occasionally, I'll make trades with petpets in them and give them to people for 1NP each. I like doing stuff like that.
